In addition to relieving stress, a good laugh deepens our breath, and that is the topic of Blog Post #3 on improving sleep schedules and quality.
Here is an exercise that can make falling asleep quicker and easier.
4-7-8 Breathing:
Tuck into bed and get comfortable
Place tip of your tongue on the back of your top teeth and exhale with your mouth open
Close your mouth and take a deep breath in through for a count of 4
Hold the breath for a count of 7
Exhale S-L-O-W-L-Y for a count of 8
Repeat 2-3 times. Then close your eyes and drift off…Sleep tight!
